This is what happens when an artist with too much free time and a snowstorm decides to mess with the police.
In Montreal, Canada, artist Simon Laprise pulled off one of the most creative winter pranks ever when he built a full-size car entirely out of snow and parked it on a street during snow removal operations. The sculpture was inspired by a DeLorean and included incredibly realistic details, right down to actual windshield wipers placed on the snow to make it look even more convincing. When police officers on patrol spotted what they believed was an illegally parked vehicle blocking snow removal, they pulled up with their lights on to investigate and issue a ticket.

When the officers got close enough to realize the entire car was made of snow, their reaction shifted from enforcement to pure amusement. Rather than walking away, they left a handwritten note on the sculpture that read “you made our night,” a moment that perfectly captured the humor of the situation. Photos of the snow car and the police response went viral, with millions of people praising both the craftsmanship of the sculpture and the good-natured reaction from the officers. The masterpiece did not last long though. The next day, snowplows cleared the street and the car disappeared along with the rest of the snow.

He built a car out of snow so realistic that police tried to ticket it, and their response was the best part of the whole story.
